Ty Crwn Bach Idris is a 4.5m yurt sleeping up to 4 with a fully equipped kitchen/diner in a 25m2 log cabin also containing a heated bathroom (with hot power shower and flushing toilet).
Ty Crwn Mawr is an authentic 6.5m Mongolian Ger (also known as a yurt) sleeping up to 7 with a wooden cabin next to it containing a well equipped kitchenette and bathroom (with a compost loo and hot shower).
Both yurts are heated by wood burning stoves. Each yurt also has its own outdoor and covered seating/dining area, fire pit/bowl and BBQ.

Need a reboot? This is the place…A stunning, peaceful and idyllic space that Shayne and Nathan have lovingly created. It reflects the surrounding beauty of the Welsh countryside, combining great eco values with comfort and detail to make sure you have a memorable stay. Highly recommend this place. - 09 Jan 2022Sheryl
Great location with lots of walks on your door step. Only 20 mins drive to Llangollen. Less to Corwen village. The large yurt has plenty of space with a nice comfy bed. The wood stove heats up nicely after 20-30mins. The kitchen is outside, but sheltered. It’s well equipped.
We had a lovely weekend and I would highly recommend it for the glamping experience. Remember it is glamping, so won’t always have all your luxuries, but that’s what makes it fun. :-) - 09 Jan 2022
Myself and my partner spent a few days just after Christmas this place, and it was a wonderful experience. We have strong traditional connections to Yurts and also had the chance to have a look at Shayne & Nathan's cob house. My partner grew up in a cob house, and I fond of history and art, so this place was a perfect choice to reconnect our background, wind down, spend night next to the fire, in a cosy yurt, having a good bottle of wine and wonderful conversations. We truly experienced what it means slowing down (especially it was still... read more - 30 Dec 2021Tessa
Got back from the yurt last night and very sad not to be waking up there this morning! Nathan is such a great host - communication was perfect, he made us feel so welcome and helped us with planning our stay.
The yurt was so spacious, cosy and comfy, and we loved warming up by the fire after spending our days taking in the beautiful views and fresh air. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery etc, and shower was lovely and warm.
We arrived using public transport, directions were clear and so we had no issues getting there or getting around during our... read more - 06 Dec 2021

Thank you so very much for our lovely stay in Wales, it was absolutely perfect and beyond exceeded our expectations! The Yurt was exactly like the photos, if not better in real life! The shower/toilet/kitchen block was clean and easy to use. Amazing location, right up in the mountain - if you are seeking a place to escape city life, this is the one for you!! Can’t wait to book and come and stay again! ✨ - 01 Dec 2021Bill
I stayed here for three nights with my wife and our two small dogs. It was my 65th birthday weekend and I wanted something a bit different for the special occasion. The property is easy to find and in a really accessible location, but still away from it all. We had everything we needed to make our weekend very comfortable. The adjoining kitchen / dining room is very well equipped and very roomy. Plenty of storage space and food preparation surfaces. The shower room / WC has everything you need. The highlight of the stay though was the yurt. Plenty... read more - 22 Nov 2021
This place is amazing! It was such a unique stay, in a beautiful setting, and the yurt was so cosy especially with the stove lit. It feels remote, up a single track road up a hillside, but still only 10 minutes from shops and places to get food.
Nathan was super helpful, and helped make our stay great!
We had a great weekend here and would highly recommend it! - 14 Nov 2021
Fantastic yurt in a beautiful location! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We asked for recommendations for walks and Nathan filled our days with activities! And loaned us maps
Our visit was in November, so we didn't take advantage of the star gazing (due to temp outside), which we will on our next visit.
Only downside was the pre-arrival reading, which contained many rules (mainly about fire making). But on arrival we were made to feel very comfortable and relaxed.
We will definitely return! - 05 Nov 2021
The perfect retreat, just what we’ve been looking for! Ideal setting, in a peaceful countryside location, being a great base for visiting local attractions offered at nearby Bala, Llangollen, etc.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by our charming and friendly hosts, Shayne & Nathan, who although busy on various projects, always had time for a chat and we were made to feel very welcome. It was inspirational to meet such wonderful people, who genuinely have love and respect for our world, and put it into practice.
Staying in the beautiful, genuine Mongolian yurt was a wonderful experience,... read more - 01 Oct 2021Serena
This was our first stay in a Yurt, and it was a wonderful time! It was easy to find, check in was easy, and the place was comfy and clean! Along with the yurt, you get a private cabin next door, where they have all the kitchen supplies you need! Shayne and Nathan were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and friendly! We had a great time!! Only complaint is that it did get pretty cold and we had some difficulty with the fire inside, getting it to start was hard without any paper kindling! So if you get cold easily like... read more - 28 Sep 2021
We loved our three-night stay here. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The countryside is absolutely stunning and I spent all my free time hiking around and looking at birds. The yurt was very cozy and if you don't mind roughing it a bit, it has everything you need for a brief stay. Would definitely come back! - 26 Sep 2021Nicole
We had the most wonderful stay! The yurt was beautiful, and VERY clean. The bathroom and kitchen were really modern and spotless. Shayne and Nathan were really helpful and welcoming hosts and could not do enough to help us. After a reschedule due to Covid, we needed to take our 6month old puppy with us and he had the best time! Would definitely recommend staying here. - 26 Sep 2021Jane
Stayed in the mini yurt for a few days which was lovely. The yurt is comfortable and cosy and the surroundings are very relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and is right next to the yurt, as is the bathroom which is spotless. Nathan & Shayne are great hosts and ensure you have a hassle free stay, lovely people. - 23 Sep 2021

Blissful! My daughter and I stayed at Ty Mam Mawr for 3 nights. It was completely blissful. So peaceful, very beautiful location, had everything we needed for the most relaxing break. We bbq’d, stargazed, slept, read, just what we needed. Nathan and Shane are very lovely people, meeting them both, and staying at their little oasis, was a very happy making thing. Thank you both! ❤️ - 15 Sep 2021

A peaceful weekend away If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here! The yurts are located in the hills and surrounded by fields and forest. We could listen to owls and watch bats at night, skies are clear enough to watch shooting stars if you’re lucky! The owners are very welcoming and friendly but didn’t encroach on our space and privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Everything was provided in the kitchen etc.
There is a 7km loop just by the campsite suitable for walks and mountain bikes, even with kids in tow!... read more - 26 Aug 2021
We stayed in Nathan and Shayne’s yurts for 3 nights for my brothers stag do, wanting somewhere chilled, different and with a great setting. The yurts did not disappoint! It was a great base for us to go and explore North Wales and do all the activities we had planned.
Nathan gave us a great welcome upon arrival, showing us every aspect of the space and was always on hand should we need him, but very much left us to enjoy ourselves. Everything was extremely tidy and we had everything we needed for a great weekend. The BBQs and the fire... read more - 26 Jul 2021
