Ty Crwn Bach Idris is a 4.5m yurt sleeping up to 4 with a fully equipped kitchen/diner in a 25m2 log cabin also containing a heated bathroom (with hot power shower and flushing toilet).
Ty Crwn Mawr is an authentic 6.5m Mongolian Ger (also known as a yurt) sleeping up to 7 with a wooden cabin next to it containing a well equipped kitchenette and bathroom (with a compost loo and hot shower).
Both yurts are heated by wood burning stoves. Each yurt also has its own outdoor and covered seating/dining area, fire pit/bowl and BBQ.
We may be 'off grid', but in terms of facilities you wouldn't know it! Plenty of hot water, a power shower, electricity in all the spaces and WiFi if required.View & Book The Yurts & Facilities

Blissful! My daughter and I stayed at Ty Mam Mawr for 3 nights. It was completely blissful. So peaceful, very beautiful location, had everything we needed for the most relaxing break. We bbq’d, stargazed, slept, read, just what we needed. Nathan and Shane are very lovely people, meeting them both, and staying at their little oasis, was a very happy making thing. Thank you both! ❤️ - 15 Sep 2021

A peaceful weekend away If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here! The yurts are located in the hills and surrounded by fields and forest. We could listen to owls and watch bats at night, skies are clear enough to watch shooting stars if you’re lucky! The owners are very welcoming and friendly but didn’t encroach on our space and privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Everything was provided in the kitchen etc.
There is a 7km loop just by the campsite suitable for walks and mountain bikes, even with kids in tow!... read more - 26 Aug 2021
We stayed in Nathan and Shayne’s yurts for 3 nights for my brothers stag do, wanting somewhere chilled, different and with a great setting. The yurts did not disappoint! It was a great base for us to go and explore North Wales and do all the activities we had planned.
Nathan gave us a great welcome upon arrival, showing us every aspect of the space and was always on hand should we need him, but very much left us to enjoy ourselves. Everything was extremely tidy and we had everything we needed for a great weekend. The BBQs and the fire... read more - 26 Jul 2021

Magical Yurts within easy access of local sights... We had an amazing weekend celebrating my best friend's hen party. These yurts made the whole experience totally magical and completely quirky. We enjoyed an evening of pizza making and crafting in the log cabin kitchen (fully equipped and very clean) on our first night and s'more making round the fire pit on our second. We cooled our drinks in the small pond and had breakfast in the hammocks. The yurts come complete with log burners and have useful plug sockets. We loved the fairy lights and colourful lamps that really set off the beautiful decorative beams of the yurt... read more - 05 Jul 2021Sarah McAuliffe
Peaceful mountain hideaway! We had such a wonderful time at Shayne and Nathan's peaceful mountain hideaway. We stayed in the larger of the two yurts and the two of us had lots of space to make ourselves at home. The place was clean and peaceful, and the bed was nice and comfy. We enjoyed using the sweet little kitchen for making our meals. We had everything we needed. The fridge was a decent size for our food for the week, and they provided useful storage boxes for our dry foods. It was great to have sole use of our own toilet and shower... read more - 21 Jun 2021

A real gem. Stunning location, many beautiful walks straight from the yurts. We walked to a waterfall where we could swim in a deep pool, a beautiful reservoir where the kids loved playing in the streams leading to it, and even climbed a mountain where we could see for miles. All of this literally on the doorstep.
Shayne and Nathan were excellent hosts, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. Shayne helped the kids gather rhubarb from her garden and even gave us some flour to make the best crumble ever, Nathan indulged my husbands obsession with catching... read more - 05 Jun 2021Manni
What a lovely little retreat. We stayed here with our young children and pet pooch. We all loved it! Nathan greeted us and showed us around, then a chicken came by to say hi, and before long the neighbouring cows introduced themselves.
The yurt was clean and gave off good chilled vibes, we had use of a private outdoor space to have a fire and bbq with a spectacular view of the Welsh hills. If we ever needed help Nathan was more than willing to help. Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a break away fortune usual daily grind.... read more - 27 May 2021
Brilliant trip. The yurt was beautiful and cosy. Even though it rained for most of our trip we were determined to go out walking, but we were able to come back and cosy up to the indoor wood burner, listening to the rain on the roof. On a clear night we sat out by the outdoor fire pit enjoying the stars. The kitchen had everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning too.
Nathan met us on arrival to show us around, he was very welcoming and friendly. Whenever we needed anything we just sent him a quick message and he... read more - 23 May 2021Phoebe

Blissful break in North Wales Absolutely adored our stay. It was by far the most relaxing break we have had in years. Our 4 children adored it too and are already asking when we can go back! The weather was inclement to say the least but the cosiness of the yurt and wood burning stove meant that we were toasty all weekend. Nathan and Shayne were warm, welcoming and gracious hosts and we cannot wait to book again. This will definitely be our regular escape from the stresses of life!! Cannot recommend enough! - 17 May 2021
Had an absolutely fantastic stay at the yurt over the long weekend with my partner and dog - Have already recommended to friends and will definitely be back!
Shayne welcomed us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, answering all questions and providing help as and when needed. Nathan helped provide us a list of pubs to book and help when we had a small, fixable issue with our shower. It was seen to straight away.
Everything is exactly as described, and even goes above and beyond. The kitchen area had everything we could have needed, there were... read more - 09 May 2021Rachel
If you want somewhere peaceful, beautiful and cosy this is it. We loved staying in the yurt, and getting back to basics cooking on the fire. There’s everything you need here and a fab place to just relax and chill out. Local towns with pubs and restaurants aren’t far and there’s great access to the A5 if you’re looking to visit Snowdonia National Park. - 07 May 2021

I have been back to this location many times now to hold my 'Return To Nature' retreat with groups from London and other parts of the UK. The place never fails to deliver. Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn the land is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to in the UK.
Aside from the setting, it is always an absolute pleasure to see and catch up with Shayne and Nathan who are becoming dear friends and have infused the place with LOVE which is immediately felt by anyone present. I'll be back again a few more... read more - 26 Apr 2021
