Nearly finished….the roundhouse and ty crwn mawr at the intimate off grid eco retreat centre ty mam mawr

Would definitely recommend this stay to anybody. Beautiful forest location as described with amazing Mountain View’s and so easy to get to following the sat nav. It was snowing during our visit which made staying in the yurt so cosy and it was lovely to watch the birds and other natural wildlife in the snow whilst sipping our morning brew. Nathan was so friendly and helpful responding quickly to our messages and answering any queries we had. We didn’t manage to meet Shayne this time but hopefully we will see them both next time we book as we will sure be revisiting this yurt multiple times this year! Thankyou both for an amazing weekend :)

Fantastic place and the hosts were laid back and all round wonderful people. Perfect if you want your own space away from the hustle bustle. Highly recommended.

The facilities were spot on and had everything we needed.

A beautiful and welcoming yurt set in an amazing location surrounded by forrests full of wild phesants! A great space to relax and reconnect with nature during the day then getting comfy around a fire pit at night and watching the stars. The yurt warms up a treat once the stove is lit and there were plenty of extra blankets to hand. The hosts Shayne and Nathan were always at hand to help if needed and provided a very friendly welcome. We took a short drive out down the A5 to Chirk Castle which makes a beautiful family day out.
