We had a lovely weekend in Shayne and Nathan's yurt. Very relaxing and peaceful and even the weather was kind to us. The cows in the field below seemed particularly interested in our barbecue and the chickens were after anything they could peck. If you want complete peace and quiet i is the place to go.

We had an amazing 3 night stay in Nathan and Shayne’s yurt! Nathan gave us a warm welcome and tour on our arrival. We were blown away by the scenery surrounding the yurt and how self sufficient everything was. We’ve stayed in a few yurts before, but found this one really had all the amenities spot on! The kitchen, shower and toilet are on your door step, the fire pit and bbq are in a nice private area (also right beside the yurt) and the main log cabin has practically everything you can think of kitchen wise. We had plenty rain during our stay, but the yurt stayed warm and cosy, especially with the wood burner (Nathan was also extremely accommodating when we asked to buy extra logs). We did walks to liberty hall and the waterfall, both handy walks from the yurt. The yurt itself was extremely spacious and had lots of lovely touches. Couldn’t recommend more. Even in bad weather! We had a fantastic time, a really genuinely laid-back atmosphere, in a beautiful setting and the yurt was super cosy and just as charming as it looks in the photos! Thoroughly recommended...

We have been glamping at various places over the year & this trip blew us away. The yurt & the land are really magical , everything was perfect , the kitchen was great for cooking in & shower was lovely. We really enjoyed chilling out in the yurt playing bord games , going for walks in the forest & ventured to Bala to go to the micro brewery.Nathan is a wonderful host , he made my birthday weekend & nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend going here , we can’t wait to return. Thanks so much xx

Just what we needed after a busy festive period. The yurt was incredibly warm once the fire got going. It was a bit tricky to find but well worth it once we got there. Nathan made sure we had everything we needed and made sure the yurt was warm for our arrival
