- RachelTotally secluded & remote spot. The yurt is an incredible structure & super cosy (we stayed in November) The cob round house is stunning. It's obvious that a lot of graft has gone into planning and creating this space - respect to Shayne & Nathan for their amazing efforts there.
Bit of advice if you're planning a trip here... the hosts send a link to a video on how everything works (off-grid & eco), it's a long video but try to watch it through to the end because it explains how to get hot water, then you won't be having a cold shower, like me! (the hot water works fine, I'm just an idiot) - 06 Nov 2024read moreread less - LukeWe had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Shayne and Nathan's yurt! The location is absolutely stunning, photos don't do it justice.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need and we had no problem at all with any of the amazing off-grid systems. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable, and perfect for me, my husband and our dog Lucy.
We had some beautiful walks and being 20 weeks pregnant I loved falling asleep in the hammock on the decking! Would love to visit your beautiful home again one day, thank you both for a beautiful relaxing stay! 🙂 x - 14 Oct 2024read moreread less - LynseyFantastic find, very peaceful, quite and quaint, just want we wanted, when the fire was on the yurt was very comfortable and toasty. Star gazing was magical as no light pollution could see everything constellation,
No need to set alarms here and the pheasants wake you up around 7:30 is which was lovely to listen to with a morning coffee in the crisp Welsh air
Very responsive hosts, always messaged back quickly, very clear instructions to find the yurts, couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Thank you
Lynsey - 13 Oct 2024read moreread lessJordynWe've just got back from a weekend away here and the scenery/location was fab! Exactly what we wanted for our relaxed getaway and we got very lucky with the weather too which is a plus!
There isn't much if anything to complain about really, we just wish the lights of the porch of the yurt worked as it would of been nice to sit out there past dark. Even if they are just for effect, it would of been nice to have that experience.
Also when it gets dark, it's pitch black so make sure to take plenty of light sources to help get you to the bathroom at night time. - 06 Oct 2024read moreread lessTheoWe had an excellent weekend staying in one of Shayne and Nathan's yurts, situated in a tranquil Welsh valley. Our only suggestion would be to rethink the quantity of pre-arrival info guests are required to engage with. There's over 2,000 words for the guest rules, which is also accompanied by a 30 minute intro video. The rules are all very reasonable and fair, but having to engage with that amount of info felt a bit excessive for a 2 night stay! Otherwise one of the best glamping experiences we've had so far -- thank you. - 29 Sep 2024read moreread less - PaulaWe have just returned from a very peaceful few days in the yurt. The outdoor firepit was fantastic and we enjoyed foraging for some wood in the forest (logs also available to purchase). Our fire was rained off on our second night (we managed to cook our burgers on it first) but the covered porch meant we could remain outside in nature with our music playing and a nice rum to keep us warm.
The yurt is spacious with a comfortable bed. The yurt warms up quickly with the log burner. We didn't leave the area on our first 2 days, choosing to walk in the forest, which is on your doorstep.
Day 3 we ventured out to Ruthin, the Gaol is an interest place to visit.
The rain was heavy so we decided to try a Sunday lunch in the Cynwyd local pub, the Blue Lion. The food was delicious and there was a friendly atmosphere in the pub. We then holed up in the cozy yurt and played games for the evening.
Definitely a place to visit for peace and relaxation in nature. ? - 23 Sep 2024read moreread lessStacie-AnneI’ve just returned from the most marvellous few days away in the small yurt.
The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. It was so peaceful, I’m struggling to entertain the noise of being back in reality.
Nathan was the most wonderful welcoming, kind and thoughtful host.
I’m so grateful for the experience. Thank you so much for having me. - 12 Sep 2024read moreread less - Nathan ThomasReally nice, really peaceful yurt life We had a great time staying with Greener Glamping. Accomodation was nice and clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the facilities worked well. We especially loved the hammocks!
The site was quiet and peaceful, and the surrounding area is very beautiful with great walking straight from the yurt. Watching the moon rise above the trees, with views across to the mountains, was magical. Having plenty of space in the yurt and the kitchen was welcome on a wet day.
Nathan was very responsive and helpful, and had some great recommendations for local walks and food options.
We would definitely stay at Greener Glamping again! - 22 Aug 2024read moreread lessLissWe had a wonderful time in the small yurt, the kitchen was very well equipped, the yurt was comfortable and Nathan respected our privacy yet was responsive if necessary. We were out most of the day and evenings but it was easy to find in the dark because of Nathan’s thoroughly informative video and directions. We hope to stay again one day as the location is perfectly Central for all the activities we enjoy. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Nathan ? - 22 Aug 2024read moreread less - SusanWow, what a wonderful couple of nights away. Only had a couple of nights that all the family were free, so decided to try Glamping to reduce the packing up and down in two nights from our usual camping trips. Was so worth the extra cost. This place was absolutely fantastic. Such a beautiful space and surroundings. Total peace and tranquility, all the facilities you would need. Loved playing guitar round the fire pit, watching the full moon ride. Thank you Shayne and Nathan for a wonderful getaway. We'll be back. - 21 Aug 2024read moreread lessRachelabsolutely amazing place to stay! gorgeous countryside on your doorstep.
a very unspoilt part of Wales.
kids loved the yurt and cooking on the firepit.
it's just such a lovely space.
Nathan and shayne left us to it but we knew they would help if we needed it.

- Anne-MarieA true experience, back to nature in a yurt!!?
Breathtaking view and position.
Yurt ? was like something out of a fairytale!
Only draw back was the compost toilet ? but hosts had been very honest and prepared us what to expect but you soon get used to it!
I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants a true rest and break from the usual! - 04 Jul 2024read moreread lessMeganWill certainly be recommending it to friends.
Beautifully located just outside of cynwyd, really great recommendations from Nathan about local spots/walks. Nathan was really friendly, great guy, approachable but also gave us privacy so that we could relax into our own peace.
The yurt and cabin had everything we needed so much so that I think I even persuaded my non-outdoorsy partner to do this again 🙂 . - 28 Jun 2024read moreread less -
- Julia parkerPeaceful, relaxing and surrounded by a stunning location Really loved our first glamping trip.
Nathan was an excellent host.
The yurt was amazing, really comfortable beds and we particularly enjoyed being in the hammocks on the front porch when the sun was going down, listening to the cuckoo in the forest in the distance. - 11 Jun 2024read moreread less - DarrenOur remit was for somewhere remote, where we can get away from the world and relax, and just explore the beautiful surroundings - Nathan's place hit the bullseye.
Nathan was there when we arrived and showed us what we needed to know. The yurt had lots of added extras you don't always expect such as crockery, pans, cutlery, tea/coffee etc. and was all set up for us when we arrived. The Yurt (large) was huge and was exactly what you would expect.
There are so many different walks to go and explore the stunning surroundings and if you want some time away from the 'rat race' I can thoroughly recommend this place, it will not disappoint. - 09 Jun 2024read moreread lessBethWe had a relaxing and peaceful stay at Nathan’s eco retreat. A perfect place to unwind and detox! We loved sleeping in the yurt and drinking the mountain water. Nathan was a wonderful and very friendly host! The yurt is huge and comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need.
The outside area is. just perfect with spectacular views across the valley.
The surrounding areas are perfect for hiking and adventures.
Would highly recommend. - 02 Jun 2024read moreread lessAdrianAn absolutely wonderful place to stay to get away from the world! 3 nights of listening to the wildlife, feeling a million miles from anywhere, cooking on the open fire - we were in heaven!
Nathan is a fantastic host, great communication before we travelled, then left us to get on with it as we wanted while we were there, but never more than a stones throw away if needed.
The yurt itself was beautifully decorated and VERY warm! And have no fears about a compost loo!
Provision of the dutch oven and other cookware suitable for the open fire was brilliant, chilli mac & cheese one night, one pot lasagna the next, it was awesome!
Thanks Nathan, see you again! - 30 May 2024read moreread less - GordonBeautiful location, and a lovely getaway stay at a totally sustainable location in the heart of the Welsh hills! The yurt itself was really comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom have all the necessary amenities (and then some!). We also used the bbq and fire pit which were really nice. Nathan was also really helpful, but honestly it was super easy to check in and out and we had everything we needed. Will definitely back!!
Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there are no locks on any of the doors (including the bathroom), and while it's definitely not an unsafe environment whatsoever, and me and my friend who stayed both felt extremely safe, I think having locks or even the ability to padlock valuables should be given. - 19 May 2024read moreread less - KarenSuch a glorious weekend spent at Nathan’s place. Great host, incredible location, beautiful yurt. Really private. Our dog had a wonderful time too! Lots of lovely walks right from the doorstep. And the breathtaking bonus of watching the aurora. Wonderful, thank you ? - 12 May 2024read moreread lessSandraI don’t know what to say really, it was perfect and Nathan was friendly and went the extra mile. I got there early, he was absolutely fine with that as it wasn’t booked the night before so accommodated fully. I was desperate for a hot drink and he made me one whilst unpacked my car. I got into the yurt and I was amazed at the space. It was clean smelt fresh lovely new bedding, it was so comfortable. I sat outside with my cuppa and was blown away by the beautiful views, wow and wow again. The kitchen has been recently painted and was spotless and cooked myself some food and ate outside as the sun went down.
I had a fantastic comfy sleep and a lovely shower in the morning. I said thank you to Nathan before I left who was so lovely what a difference a lovely host makes. I can’t wait to go back next time with my elderly dog who Nathan said was welcome he couldn’t wait to meet her. I highly recommend this place it’s more than the photos it’s clean friendly and beautiful. 10 stars - 10 May 2024read moreread less - JadeThis was just the nature escape we needed. Nathan was very friendly and always responsive when we had any quesrions. He was very kind to lend us some towels after we misunderstood the information on what was included. The yurts are decorated lovely, cosy feeling with a real bohemian vibe. Communal areas were clean and we were lucky to have the place to ourselves. We felt very comfortable and relaxed, even our dogs were immediately settled.
Our only slight niggles were that the bed dipped in the middle which wasnt great for the back and the porch lights didnt work which would have added a nice atmosphere on the evenings. - 17 Apr 2024read moreread lessNikitaThis place is lovely if you’re looking for a peaceful trip with a lot of nature surroundings!
