    • I came tired, looking for an escape from London for a few days. I left whistlin' down the road, rested and renewed. A few observations:

      1) Public transport to get there is easy. I took the train, then the T3 bus from Roabon. Stop for a pint at any number of cute pubs by the Ruabon station.

      2) There are many lovely walkabouts from right at their place. I enjoyed a few long walks, and didn't see a soul the whole time.

      3) The blustery, wintry weather turns the yurt into an evening orchestra! The stove pulls air, the rain pitters down, the wind howls outside, and the creek gaggles along. Really a lovely soundtrack.

      Thanks Nathan and Shayne!

    • Had a lovely time in the yurt it was such a unique space. It was much warmer than we expected especially with the log burner going. Nathan was extremely welcoming with recommendations for food and walks nearby!

    • Brilliant location, secluded and stunning. Nathan is a welcoming host, we will most definitely be returning. The yurt was lovely, and we had a very relaxing time! Jack and Ellie.

    • Had a great stay in the yurt! We had a 4 night trip to wales and loved every minute. The yurt was comfortable, cosy and clean. The view from yurt was incredible, day and night. We have never seen so many stars! The location is perfect plenty of walks around the area but also easy access to places by car.
We took our 6 month old puppy who also loved every second. Lots of space for him to run about and wander round. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

    • Just what we’d hoped for and exactly like the photos. Very spacious kitchen and toilet close enough to the yurt. Stay made better with the decking and hammocks- even in February. Peaceful location.
