    • If you're looking for some peace and quiet, with lovely views, a comfy bed and a cosy yurt, Shayne and Nathan's place is absolutely perfect. Nestled in the woodland out of the way of the man towns (but with good access) the yurt and cabin are both well thought out and well equipped. The Cabin has everything a decent kitchen should have (we cooked every night and morning) and there was nothing we needed in addition. Shower was good too! The Yurt looks over a lovely wooded area to the hill beyond and it's a view we could never tire of. The log burner was a welcome addition on the colder nights and rainy days (its Wales after all!) and we loved sitting out next to the fire pit every night with a glass of red, with nothing but the sound of the countryside as a soundtrack. The area has good access to local towns and a large Aldi is about a 20 min drive for provisions. Lots of places to visit and things to do or you could simply enjoy the lovely yurt and surrounding countryside. We will be back! Thank you lovely Shayne and Nathan. Alex and Mike x

    • We had a wonderful stay here, the view from the Yurt was gorgeous and it had all the amenities we needed including fully equipped kitchen, flushing toiling, amazing shower and very comfortable bed, and several hammocks which was a brilliant touch (it also meant we spent a whole day lounging, amazing!). The only thing I can think to mention was that it was much closer to the house than we originally thought so not as private as we would have liked but the house itself is really secluded so you really are away from it all :-)

    • This is our third time in the yurt, and as always, it was a true pleasure. Everything was immaculately clean and the Yurt was kept toasty warm with the wood. We will return, its one of our favourite get-aways!

    • What a wonderful place! When we arrived in Cynwyd we were struggling with baggage and so Nathan very kindly offered to pick us up and take us to the yurts. It was a nice drive up to the yurts and we were greeted with the freshest air I’ve ever tasted.. Nathan showed us around the place and explained everything perfectly, we had nothing to really ask him (other than when we realised we don’t really know how fires work). We stayed in the smaller yurt and it was perfect for the two of us, it heated up really quickly and retained heat well (in late December). The yurt itself was so cosy I still can’t get my head around how at home I felt. We didn’t have a car and luckily that wasn’t even necessary once we had got up to the yurts, there are walks for miles in almost every direction (tall pine forests, beautiful red valleys, the fresh f*cking air!±!!). Despite not seeing Nathan much once we arrived, he was still very responsive and helpful when we messaged him.

So onto the actual site itself that the two yurts (including Nathan & Shaynes house) were on. I could honestly go on forever in describing just how magical it really feels. We felt like we had more than enough privacy whilst still not feeling isolated, and that is due to how well they have designed everything. From the placement of the pond to the view from the yurt (and kitchen) window. You can hear a mixture of running water, singing birds, blowing trees, and pure beauty. Nathan & Shayne have clearly considered being as integrated into the natural landscape as possible whilst still being able to provide comfort and convenience for everyone there. It seems they have also considered the most subtle details in producing a tranquil and truly spiritual space to feel free in.

All in all it was amaaaazing, and I could still go on explaining why, but I want to eat my dinner. Thankyou SO much to Nathan, Shayne & Mother Nature for providing this whole experience!!! :)) ❤️ Xxx

    • Such a glorious weekend spent at Nathan’s place. Great host, incredible location, beautiful yurt. Really private. Our dog had a wonderful time too! Lots of lovely walks right from the doorstep. And the breathtaking bonus of watching the aurora. Wonderful, thank you ?
