    • Shayne and Nathan's place is very thoughtfully prepared and laid out and we had a fantastic time here.

Shayne and Nathan are both very welcoming and hospitable hosts and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This was the first time we had stayed in a yurt and we wholeheartedly enjoyed the rustic charm, the facilities and countryside views. The yurt itself is very spacious and comfortable with a double bed with memory foam mattress, electric hookup and wood burner stove. There's also a sofa bed too. The location is excellent with nearby amenities a short drive away and lots of countryside. The washroom facilities are very comfortable - and the shower here is fantastic! The retreat is very easy to locate using Google Maps and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are looking for peace and quiet with friendly welcoming hosts then this is the place to be.

We have no hesitation in recommending Shayne and Nathan's retreat for your next getaway and we look forward to returning soon.

    • Ty Mam Mwar is nestled among the beautiful Welsh landscapes. From the conifer woodland that it sits within to the beautiful rolling hills and mountains surrounding, this Airbnb is like a concentrated point of natural energy that flows through you the moment you pull up.

Nathan was the most wonderful and welcoming host we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was there to greet us when we arrived to show us around his beautiful patch of land, including the yurt, cabin and roundhouse that have clearly been created with love and care. Unfortunately Shayne was away during our visit but from what everyone we met said about her, we are both sure she's just as special as Nathan is.

The yurt was extremely comfortable, especially with the fire going, and the overall experience of living off grid added a very special touch to the whole week.

We can't wait to revisit this space, not only because of its beauty but because it now holds an emotional significance to us, as the woods just behind the yurt is where we got engaged. I'm sure we will be coming back here for many years to come.

Overall, we couldn't recommend this location enough to anyone who is looking for a complete reset, both mentally and spiritually, especially if you have an interest in off grid living.

We can't wait to come back! Thank you for a beautiful week and for your unquestionably good hospitality.

    • Nathan & Shayne were warm, welcoming hosts and their yurt on the forest is just magical! They provided me with all the info I needed before my stay and helped me with any questions that I had. The yurt and the wood cabin for cooking had all the essentials you would need when 'glamping' and the location itself is so serene and beautiful, I enjoyed trying out all the great walks on offer! The yurt experience is something everyone should try at least once - warming up next to the traditional wood burning stove was great! The setting is just stunning and I would love to come back again to enjoy all that the Cynwyd forest has to offer

    • Shayne and Nathan's big yurt in the depths of rural north Wales is beautifully appointed and comfortable. Fire pit outside to warm the evenings and well equipped kitchen. Shayne and Nathan are incredibly considerate and welcoming hosts, without being in the slightest bit intrusive. The only downside for anyone with mobility issues are the high steps to access the big yurt. Otherwise, a dream for anyone wanting to soak up rural tranquility.
