This was our first experience staying in a yurt and it was amazing! The Yurt was absolutely stunning, with a beautifully decorated interior, cozy wood burner and lots of quirky cushions and dream catchers.

The location was also very beautiful. We felt very close to nature and loved walking around the grounds. It was snowing during our stay so seemed even more magical! Rich, who was looking after the place, asked if we wanted to stay a bit longer to avoid driving in the snow. Unfortunately we couldn’t but it was a very kind offer!

You have everything you need to be able to cook in the kitchen, which is kept tidy and clean. The kitchen and bathroom is close by and the shower is nice and warm!

I’d definitely recommend staying here, we couldn’t have had a nicer stay!

Such an incredible experience being so far off grid in the crazy weather that goes on when you're so high up. The yurt was so cosey with the fire on and even though it was minus temperatures outside we were honestly too hot at one point.
The lifestyle Shayne and Nathan have adopted is admirable and we certainly need more people who care so much about sustainability and don't relay on conviences so much.
The surrounding areas are stunning, so quiet and peaceful and some lovely walks to go on.

The yurt was brilliant! Even the crazy windy weather didn't spoil it. The log burner gets things really toasty quickly. Nathan made us feel really welcome, refilling the logs and bringing us fresh eggs in the morning. A gorgeous peaceful spot, just what we needed to chill for a few days. Lots to do in the local area, we will deffinetly be back in the summer! Thanks
