We had a lovely time staying in this remote yurt. It was very peaceful and we really enjoyed watching the lambs in the field behind us. The yurt itself was very cosy and comfortable and we really enjoyed cuddling up in there each evening. The kitchen is well stocked if a bit small but so long as you go in one at a time it's fine. I was a bit worried about the toilet, having never used a compost toilet before, but it was really easy to use and not smelly at all!
There are loads of really interesting things to do in the surrounding area, including walks and watersports and things to see.
Nathan was really friendly and made a point of saying hello without interrupting our peaceful time together. We would very happily visit again!

A lovely yurt in a beautiful setting overlooking the forest. If you want a no frills, eco friendly trip with all the amenities you could need then this is the place. The hosts are welcoming and helpful and on hand if you need anything and, if not, leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet.

We spent a great night in Nathan and Shayne's yurt. It was lovely and cosy with the woodburner on and there was plenty room for 5 of us.
It is in a great setting, the kids loved playing with Ruby the dog and we had a lovely walk in the forest before leaving.
Would love to visit again.

We had a lovely time at Shayne and Nathan's place. They were extremely welcoming and friendly and the yurt and facilities were fantastic. The location is quite and relaxing and surrounded by great walks. We were lucky enough to be there in the snow and it was a magical winter wonderland! We would highly recommend and would love to go back!
