    • We were two familes of four that booked the two Yurts for a 3 night stay over the new year period, and we enjoyed every second of it! What an absolutly fanstastic place to stay. The House manual is very thorough but all common sensse, as seasoned campers weren't put off. There are a few things to think about as the site is completley off grid, but all things that are considerate to conserve enery and the environment.

The Yurts are amazing and extremly compfortable and to wood stoves heat them up so quickly to the point of us stripping off and opening the door in the middle of winter. The beds are very comfortable and there seems to a be a nice relaxing calm that decents when yoa are inside the Yurts. The cabin with range size cooker and all the tools you need was a nice extra and the table comfortable sat all 8 of us round for our meals. The Cabin also has a toilet and shower which is also a nice luxury when staying in the outdoors. I however prefered to fully emerse myself in the experience and opted for the Sawdust toilet.

Nathan was a fantasict host who generally left us to it, however was there if we needed. He offered some great advice about the local area and a walk upto the the 'Liberty Bell' which covered many different terrains and caused lots of laughs when we expected a fully funtioning hunting lodge where we could maybe have a pint and it ended up being just the ruins of the old building. We also ventureed to Bala for a walk round the beautiful lake new years day and the sun was shining so we all went in for a paddle but all ended up wet through. We all returned to dry out rpound the fire pit while toasting marshmellows.

All in all both adults and children loved every minuite of our time there and will be booking for another long weekend in the summer. If your considering this i's say just book it and enjoy.

    • Lovely hosts, any questions you have they will respond very quickly. Very beautiful location. If you are looking for a weekend away, off grid, away from the hustle bustle of general life then this yurt is definitely the place to go for a mini break.

    • One of the most beautiful yurts we have stayed in! it was peaceful, scenic and surrounded by great walks with a little village not too far away!
The host was more than attentive, welcoming and recommended some great walks and sights near by. I'd 100% recommend this stay to anyone who wants to escape the and bustle of everyday life !
We will 100% be coming back!

    • From the get-go Nathan and Shayne where fantastic. Any questions you have leading up to to your check-inn date are responded quickly, Including local knowledge of information about any activities you've got planned in the area. The quick 10 minute introduction about the facilities was good, we even asked several questions about how the off-grid system they have works. The Yurt itself was incredible and very clean. The amenities on-site where also great and clean. Our group spent the day climbing Snowden and was lovely to come back to a shower (which uses straight off the mountain water) and have the fire on in the Yurt. Throughout our stay Nathan & Shayne left us to it, but was contactable throughout if we needed anything. Definitely a place to visit if you're thinking about seeing Wales, all in all a great experiance and will be visiting again.
