    • Highly recommened this booking! We found it cosy even at night despite minus temperatures thanks to the wood burners so dont let the time of year put you off.
On arrival the yurts and kitchen were very clean and the lovely hosts were always available if needed but allowed us pur privacy. Personally the best part of the experience was the most beautiful walks without the need for a car to get there. The children loved the friendly dogs the most and enjoying being with the family in the evening playing games. The place has something for everyone!

    • Hidden up the valley on the edge of a forest it is not the easiest to find but what a treasure awaits when you get there.
An instant peace comes over you as you park up behind your yurt, before being wowed by the fairylights and wood burning stove to greet you in the cosy bed space. Even in icy temperatures the yurt holds its heat and with only the stream nearby you’re easily lulled off to sleep.
To be clear this does not feel like a camping trip, the communal shower and bathroom are clean and warm. Attached to a large cabin with industrial cooker to create whatever takes your fancy.
If you want to save time and meet the locals then head 10 mins down the road to llandrillo. The Dudley arms was a cosy traditional pub with good food and a friendly feel. Or for a special occasion Tyddyn Llan is your local Michelin star restaurant with a friendly dinner party atmosphere.
During the day there are plenty of forest, lake and mountain walks for all experience levels. The mountains making a dramatic backdrop to any expedition.
To top it all off Nathan and Shayne are so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area that you can completely unwind, watching the sunrise and set from your hammock.

    • We (2 people and a dog) had a relaxing stay in this clean, rustic glamping yurt and cabin. Lovely views, very peaceful and a comfortable bed. Friendly and responsive host. Good base for exploring the surrounding area. Deck was great for a cuppa, breakfast & bird spotting.

House rules and directions were detailed, which made check in very hands-off (you can arrange for in-person check in if desired) and straight forward. Nathan was quick to bring us bedding for the second bed and to check that the cabin door handle (bit loose) and yurt door cover (bit tired, you have to just fold it under the poles of the yurt) were both as they should be. This was much appreciated and meant we could just relax and enjoy the space. Thank you for having us!

NOTE: we encountered a lot of ticks, even just walking on the road (we've done off-grid, middle of nature camping adventures a lot and not had as many as we did here) so come prepared, especially if bringing a dog with you.

    • It's a beautiful place to stay with great amenities and a very friendly vibe.

Everything was very clear with a lot of detailed instructions so there was no confusion about anything.

The only thing I overlooked when booking was if there was a secure place to keep our belongings during the stay. We ended up just keeping them in the car if we weren't in the Yurt, but it didn't impact the trip at all, just something to keep in mind.
