Lovely hosts, any questions you have they will respond very quickly. Very beautiful location. If you are looking for a weekend away, off grid, away from the hustle bustle of general life then this yurt is definitely the place to go for a mini break.

We have just returned from a very peaceful few days in the yurt. The outdoor firepit was fantastic and we enjoyed foraging for some wood in the forest (logs also available to purchase). Our fire was rained off on our second night (we managed to cook our burgers on it first) but the covered porch meant we could remain outside in nature with our music playing and a nice rum to keep us warm.
The yurt is spacious with a comfortable bed. The yurt warms up quickly with the log burner. We didn't leave the area on our first 2 days, choosing to walk in the forest, which is on your doorstep.
Day 3 we ventured out to Ruthin, the Gaol is an interest place to visit.
The rain was heavy so we decided to try a Sunday lunch in the Cynwyd local pub, the Blue Lion. The food was delicious and there was a friendly atmosphere in the pub. We then holed up in the cozy yurt and played games for the evening.
Definitely a place to visit for peace and relaxation in nature. ?

What an amazing experience! Shayne and Nathan's Yurt is unbelievably peaceful and truly off grid and a lush place to stay in an Area of Outstanding Beauty. We stayed for two nights and really did not want to leave. There hosting was easy going but at the same time offering a thoughtful and comprehensive service. This is one to recommend and we hope to visit for longer next year - We are still feeling uber relaxed and refreshed from the daily hustle and bustle of our lives back home. Had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful retreat recently. I can't recommend it highly enough. Ran by the most welcoming and friendly hosts, the retreat has everything you could wish for. Cosy yurts with log burning stoves, a well stocked Kitchen with everything you could possibly need, a roundhouse that's perfect for hosting a meditation or yoga class and miles upon miles of rolling hills and woodland walks. It's completely off the grid too. Perfect.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes from Shayne and the two dogs. We were shown around the place and made to feel at home instantly. The location is beautiful and the place is a 10/10 and we would highly reccomened this place for all ages, who enjoy the outdoors and an area of outstanding natural scenery. Inside the Yurt is incredible and the small log burner keeps the place warm throughout the night along with a very comfy memory foam mattress! Overall we had an exceptional time at Shayne and Nathans incredible place and have already planned to return in the near future. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, John & Llinos.
