Shayne and Nathan were lovely hosts! They had everything prepared for us and gave brilliant instructions on how to get there, how to use everything etc. The yurt was so cosy and warm and we didn’t have the best of weather either. Lovely location up in the mountains, will definitely be staying again!

We went as a family with 2 kids- 1 infant. Shayne and Nathan are wonderful hosts and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. It is a lovely place to stay with serene views and very peaceful. We would love to come again and definitely recommend this place if you want to get away from busy life.

We have just returned from a very peaceful few days in the yurt. The outdoor firepit was fantastic and we enjoyed foraging for some wood in the forest (logs also available to purchase). Our fire was rained off on our second night (we managed to cook our burgers on it first) but the covered porch meant we could remain outside in nature with our music playing and a nice rum to keep us warm.
The yurt is spacious with a comfortable bed. The yurt warms up quickly with the log burner. We didn't leave the area on our first 2 days, choosing to walk in the forest, which is on your doorstep.
Day 3 we ventured out to Ruthin, the Gaol is an interest place to visit.
The rain was heavy so we decided to try a Sunday lunch in the Cynwyd local pub, the Blue Lion. The food was delicious and there was a friendly atmosphere in the pub. We then holed up in the cozy yurt and played games for the evening.
Definitely a place to visit for peace and relaxation in nature. ?

Stunning location .. beautiful yurt. Comfortable bed with extra blankets if needed but was lovely and warm in the yurt with the fire lit. Perfect place , very eco friendly .. in a stunning location. Friendly hosts who are very helpful. We will be back x
