    • Shayne met us on arrival and we talked and met throughout the weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer, friendlier host. Shayne also gave some good advice on the local walks, as well as amenities, which were very useful and saved us some time on a quick weekend visit. The yurt was as per the photos, and had lovely views into the hills. The log burner meant we could stay warm even though we had a little snow. Definitely keep plenty of kindling and fire lighters so it’s easy to start again if it burns out during the night. Nice space for an outdoor fire pit too. It all added to a nice ‘outdoorsy’ weekend away. The kitchen area was very well equipped and you could easily prepare and cook a good meal in there if you wish. Shared bathroom and shower facilities were available, which were clean and warm. The local Indian restaurant food was very nice and worth a visit if eating out. The area is very pretty and also remote, which was ideal for a get-away break. Thanks for your hospitality.

    • We were blessed to have had a Heavenly stay in this sanctuary of sorts that was so lovingly dreamed into being by the wonderful Nathan and Shayne. Peacefully surrounded by beautiful nature whilst sleeping in a magical yurt knowing that it’s in an ecologically minded way is truly a gift! We are so thankful to the both of them and from the heart recommend a stay here.

    • This is a wonderful place to experience. We have wanted to come here for nearly two year and we finally managed to book a weekend away for our anniversary. It was everything we needed and more ! The views and surroundings are magical. Listening to the birds all day was soothing. The sunsets were great. We went here to celebrate our anniversary and it was a weekend we will have in our memory for a long time. The yurt had so many hippy vibes which was great ! This is definitely a place to get some tranquilty and stillness. We went here a day before lockdown and it was everything we needed. So thankyou! ❤ x x
