What a special place this is! It was in exactly the location we were after for the Welsh leg of our road trip and the idea of a remote yurt certainly did appeal! The yurt was super comfortable and kept us cosy during some heavy rain. The view from the deck when the sun came out was fantastic. Kitchen cabin had everything we needed as well. Shayn & Nathan were great hosts and have created such a great place to stay. Totally recommend for anyone wanting something a little off the beaten track and different! I hope to get back there soon.

We loved our New Year get away treat! What a fabulous way to start a new year, cuddled around a fire with a hot chocolate after a long walk with such beautiful views!! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Shayne and Nathan but their wonderful friends were there to welcome us :) Thinking about planning our return trip in the summer months!

We were well informed in the lead up to our stay via Air B&B communication. Though the host's weren't there during our stay, there friend/colleague Matt was around in the evenings if needed, though left us to it when not, which was perfect.

The off-grid location ensured tranquillity and privacy to the highest degree. I spent more time in this yurt than I have any other accommodation in the past. Doing so allowed me to notice the details of the yurt, revealing it as more than just a 'western replica'. I'll leave the discovery of what this means to you on your visit.

The overwhelming highlight was the unobstructed view of the starry night sky, above my steaming 'cowboy curry' cooked on an open fire.

But what truly sets this place apart is the privacy it offers. With only the sounds of owl, the pheasants and the rain.

We had a lovely weekend in Shayne and Nathan's yurt. Very relaxing and peaceful and even the weather was kind to us. The cows in the field below seemed particularly interested in our barbecue and the chickens were after anything they could peck. If you want complete peace and quiet i is the place to go.
