My friend and I had a wonderful stay in the yurt! The land it's on is lovely and there's a nice community vibe with another yurt and the main house buildings around, as well as a little pond, a spacious outdoor socialising space and Rosie the friendly chicken wandering about! It was cold and rainy during our stay but the wood burner in the yurt is incredible at heating the space up quickly and effectively. It was super cosy and it's a great space to read/play board games in the evening if the weather isn't on your side. We also managed to enjoy the fire pit outside for a few hours one evening before the rain started. The facilities in the shed were super clean and very well stocked. Nathan was a fantastic Host, made us feel really welcome and like we could ask him anything. We were only two adults and we had more than enough space, you could comfortably sleep 4 close friends/family if you wanted (there's space for more but would start to get a bit cramped after 4 I'd say). We bought logs and kindling on site which I would recommend, very handy and well priced. Would definitely stay again!

Such an incredible experience being so far off grid in the crazy weather that goes on when you're so high up. The yurt was so cosey with the fire on and even though it was minus temperatures outside we were honestly too hot at one point.
The lifestyle Shayne and Nathan have adopted is admirable and we certainly need more people who care so much about sustainability and don't relay on conviences so much.
The surrounding areas are stunning, so quiet and peaceful and some lovely walks to go on.

We had a lovely stay on the yurt. The location is amazing, so out of the way and peaceful and the views really are as good as in the pictures! Nathan was very helpful and friendly and made sure we had plenty of wood and fire lighters for our chilly October stay and the yurt warmed up in no time! Had a really nice few days going on local walks during the days and having barbecues under the stars in the evenings.

A fantastic place to stay. We took our two dogs and they loved every minute! We had a great introduction to everything and were even advised on best walks in the area. The local pub just a mile down the hill was brilliant too. Definitely will be returning!
