Lovely bucolic location. Big 26 foot Mo colin style yurt or ger. toasty warm with log stove. Very friendly host. Would have been nice if matches had been provided or a lighter for heating stove, fire pit and cooker. Personal tour of his off grid system. Would highly recommend.

We arrived on the beautiful hillside where the yurt was located and we found it easily using our hosts directions. We arrived a little bit early but Nathan and Shayne allowed us to go into the yurt despite being early and we explored the local forest which was incredible. The surrounding forests and fields where so peaceful and calm and just what we needed! Nathan popped over to greet us and he was very friendly and helpful and we really felt at home. He even let us borrow an aux lead as we forgot ours. Nathan and Shayne provided us with free logs and kindling to use and then we paid for every bucket of logs after that although we only needed one more bucket of logs as the fire lasted quite a while and got very hot once it got going! This trip has been so wonderful and we would have loved to have stayed for longer.. we will definitely be returning!

Lovely green scenery surrounding the yurt with lots of amazing places for walking! Nathan was a great host and will definitely be coming back here again, maybe even bring our friends with us next time!

Shayne and Nathan are absolutely amazing hosts - they were attentive and incredibly kind! They welcomed our dog with love and he happily played with their dogs as well! Our stay in their yurt has everything you want and more, we spent everyday either in the yurt, outside next to the BBQ pit or walking in the countryside that surrounds their home. It is beautiful, cosy and relaxing - highly recommendable! Thank you to Shayne and Nathan for making Josh's birthday special and very memorable!

The yurt is cosy with speakers for an iPod, electricity, a really efficient stove and two very comfortable beds. The bathroom is the piece de resistance- hot, fast, efficient shower with different settings for getting a top to toe clean! Also, a very well stocked clean kitchen and all with a fantastic view and plenty of parking. Lovely. I feel rejuvenated!
