Got back from the yurt last night and very sad not to be waking up there this morning! Nathan is such a great host - communication was perfect, he made us feel so welcome and helped us with planning our stay.
The yurt was so spacious, cosy and comfy, and we loved warming up by the fire after spending our days taking in the beautiful views and fresh air. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery etc, and shower was lovely and warm.
We arrived using public transport, directions were clear and so we had no issues getting there or getting around during our stay - there’s plenty of nearby walks and a bus stop to take you further if you wish.

Me and my partner had the most amazing experience at Shayne and Nathan’s yurt! It was a peaceful and relaxing break for us both. The yurt is beautiful and in the most gorgeous location! Shayne and Nathan were incredible and made us feel at home. We couldn’t recommend them and the yurt more! We didn’t want to come home! If you want a relaxing break in the Welsh mountains with kind and caring hosts then this is your place! You even have chickens to hang out with! :)

The yurt is a lovely place to relax, the fire makes it so cosy and warm, perfect place to unwind after a long walk in the beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks for a lovely stay.

We arrived on the beautiful hillside where the yurt was located and we found it easily using our hosts directions. We arrived a little bit early but Nathan and Shayne allowed us to go into the yurt despite being early and we explored the local forest which was incredible. The surrounding forests and fields where so peaceful and calm and just what we needed! Nathan popped over to greet us and he was very friendly and helpful and we really felt at home. He even let us borrow an aux lead as we forgot ours. Nathan and Shayne provided us with free logs and kindling to use and then we paid for every bucket of logs after that although we only needed one more bucket of logs as the fire lasted quite a while and got very hot once it got going! This trip has been so wonderful and we would have loved to have stayed for longer.. we will definitely be returning!
