Ladies Weekend We booked both yurts for our friends 50th birthdays and absolutely loved it! It was perfect. Beautiful scenery, lovely accommodation, great kitchen & bathroom facilities and beautiful weather.
We stayed for 3 nights but we even managed a beach themed BBQ on the Saturday and really felt like we were on holiday.

One of the most beautiful yurts we have stayed in! it was peaceful, scenic and surrounded by great walks with a little village not too far away!
The host was more than attentive, welcoming and recommended some great walks and sights near by. I'd 100% recommend this stay to anyone who wants to escape the and bustle of everyday life !

Would definitely recommend this stay to anybody. Beautiful forest location as described with amazing Mountain View’s and so easy to get to following the sat nav. It was snowing during our visit which made staying in the yurt so cosy and it was lovely to watch the birds and other natural wildlife in the snow whilst sipping our morning brew. To me it seems that the facilities are mismatched to the yurts; it would make more sense if the big yurt came with the big kitchen and bathroom. Didnt matter to us though as we booked the whole place, I would suggest doing that if you are a larger group.

Shayne and Nathan's big yurt in the depths of rural north Wales is beautifully appointed and comfortable. Fire pit outside to warm the evenings and well equipped kitchen. Shayne and Nathan are incredibly considerate and welcoming hosts, without being in the slightest bit intrusive. The only downside for anyone with mobility issues are the high steps to access the big yurt. Otherwise, a dream for anyone wanting to soak up rural tranquility. - 26 Aug 2022

There were lots of beautiful walks for us to go on and with it being so hot, the recommendation from Nathan of waterfalls in the forest, with it's own cooler climate was particularly welcomed! What Nathan has created here is a beautiful little haven and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will 100% be back!
Constructive criticism, which in no way would stop us from staying again, but we thought we would note:
The shower door could do with being fixed to make it safer, particularly around children,
The shower also was broken (the controls for the different jets), it didn't heat up fully and didn't drain properly,
Some sort of nets or screen doors to keep the flying bugs out when the doors to the yurt are open and lights on in the evening,
One slightly brighter set of lights on the decking for night time use if the fire pit is not lit.

This place is amazing! Me and my partner stayed there for 3 nights where we were greeted by Nathan and Shayne who were lovely. They showed us around the yurts along with Cabins. Any questions we had they were there to help. It was also sweet of them show us connections to meditation retreats in our hometown. We had a lovely time staying in this remote yurt. It was very peaceful and we really enjoyed watching the lambs in the field behind us. The yurt itself was very cosy and comfortable and we really enjoyed cuddling up in there each evening. The kitchen is well stocked if a bit small but so long as you go in one at a time it's fine. I was a bit worried about the toilet, having never used a compost toilet before, but it was really easy to use and not smelly at all!
