Nathan and Shayne were great hosts who were very really friendly and prompt with their responses. The yurts were beautiful and clean and the kitchen area was well equipped. The location was beautiful and extremely peaceful. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would love to return in the future. - 07 Aug 2022

Absolutely brilliant experience, would highly recommend. The location is out of this world. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. Nathan, the host, was soooo helpful, nothing too much trouble. We slept like babies in the yurt, the bes was so comfy. I think the mountain air helped too. A very wonderful holiday, in a gorgeous part of the world. We will definitely be back - 22 Jun 2022
Katy SowerbyAmazing Exactly as described on the tin, back to nature but well equipped. 4 of us had an amazing stay in this remote yurt, spacious yet cosy and beautifully decorated. Surrounding area is beautiful and Nathan was an incredible host, after having car troubles on the way and arriving late, he text to ask how we were getting on and offered us a later checkout, which was greatly appreciated, we just wish we could have stayed longer! He joined us for a couple of drinks on the second night and was great to hear his story. DaltonThis place is amazing! Me and my partner stayed there for 3 nights where we were greeted by Nathan and Shayne who were lovely. They showed us around the yurts along with Cabins. Any questions we had they were there to help. It was also sweet of them show us connections to meditation retreats in our hometown. The place it's self had some lovely walks to go too with national parks and lakes. - 30 May 2022

We had a lovely time staying in this remote yurt. It was very peaceful and we really enjoyed watching the lambs in the field behind us. The yurt itself was very cosy and comfortable and we really enjoyed cuddling up in there each evening. The kitchen is well stocked if a bit small but so long as you go in one at a time it's fine. I was a bit worried about the toilet, having never used a compost toilet before, but it was really easy to use and not smelly at all!

There are loads of really interesting things to do in the surrounding area, including walks and watersports and things to see.
Nathan was really friendly and made a point of saying hello without interrupting our peaceful time together. We would very happily visit again! read less - 08 May 2022 - Tim Putnam
gorgeous stay with young kids This is a gem of a place in a beautiful location, and thankyou for your friendly welcome. We stayed in the big yurt with our young children and they had a lovely time. The beds were comfortable, the atmosphere cosy, and the stove in the yurt was great and kept us all warm. The kids loved seeing the lambs in the field right by us. The local walks were awesome, and we're very likely to return. - 19 Apr 2022

Had three wonderful nights in the smaller yurt, Ty Crwn Bach Idris. Comfortable and cosy (once the wood burner was fired up) and the smaller yurt has the advantage of the kitchen/dining/shower room facility next door which is useful extra space. There were two adults and once child staying, it was enough space for us but you might want to look at the bigger yurt if your group is four plus. Good walks within easy reach if that's your thing, there's a decent pub feasibly within walking distance if you don't mind the pull up the hill on the way... read moreHad three wonderful nights in the smaller yurt, Ty Crwn Bach Idris. Woke up to a layer of snow on the first morning, a biting frost on the second and rain on the third, you get it all at this time of year in these parts! Had our last evening toasting marshmallows on the fire pit in the sunshine though, hitting peak chilled-ness just at the right time. Nathan's 'light-touch' approach to hosting made for a truly relaxing weekend with just the right amount of assistance and attention, otherwise leaving us to 'get on with it', which we appreciate. read less - 06 Apr 2022
SandeepWe went as a family with 2 kids- 1 infant. Shayne and Nathan are wonderful hosts and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. It is a lovely place to stay with serene views and very peaceful. We would love to come again and definitely recommend this place if you want to get away from busy life. - 05 Apr 2022

Me and my husband wanted to get away for a few days and what an amazing experience
To begin with the scenery was absolutely amazing waking up to the mountain views was the best part. Pairing it with the sheeps makes it worthwhile.
The yurt interior was absolutely beautiful and comfortable and everything was exactly as described.

It is important to keep in mind when booking that during the cold season you will go through at least two packs of logs to keep warm so be wary (we didn’t have an issue but it’s important to note). Secondly we did have an issue with frozen pipes during the end of our stay but the hosts are very responsive and helped us with it.
Rosie the chicken was probably the best part of the trip (for those scared of chickens she does follow you around).
There are no signals down there but the WiFi was working perfectly fine (We were able to stream and make video calls ).
There was free ample parking on the site. There wasn’t a lock on the door but the hosts reassured us that it was completely safe and we didn’t encounter any issues during our stay.
We did arrive late in the evening and made the hosts aware, and they still welcomed us even though it was quite late.
Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be visiting again read less - 31 Mar 2022AndreaYurt in a great location, peace and tranquillity reign. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather, otherwise some aspects of the accommodation could be challenging. The kitchen area is tiny- no oven, grill or microwave. A four ring gas hob does the lot.
If you take dogs there is a brilliant circular walk straight from base - 27 Mar 2022 - Adam
Wonderful stay for a group of friends looking to escape the city. Pretty awful weather, but the yurts were lovely and warm - very cosy with the fire. Pub is about 20-25 mins walk downhill (longer on the way back!) - good pub food for when you don't fancy cooking. Great communication before and during our stay. Very much given our privacy while there. - 13 Mar 2022
BeccaWhat a magical little place this is. Truly beautiful spot with stunning views and gorgeous woodland to explore. The yurt is so cosy and welcoming, we also enjoyed a bit of mediating in the round house which is built next to the yurts- a very lovely, peaceful space.
Nathan was there to give us a warm welcome on arrival, we felt very at home and didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away from the bustle and come back to nature. - 06 Mar 2022Laura RamsayWe had a lovely stay in Ty Mam Mawr. Wonderful Stay I had a wonderful couple of nights stay in the beautiful Yurt. Such beautiful surroundings in nature underneath the stars. Our host Nathan was amazing, so welcoming and going over and above to help us. I will definitely recommend the Yurts and will be visiting again.
Jermaine - 03 Mar 2022MichaelaAbsolutely wonderful place. We stayed for a long weekend and could of easily stayed longer. The location was stunning and we felt so private even though the hosts were close enough for anything you need. Would highly recommend this place and would love to come back again 🙂 thanks so much to Nathan & Shayne - 27 Feb 2022

Ty Mam Mwar is nestled among the beautiful Welsh landscapes. From the conifer woodland that it sits within to the beautiful rolling hills and mountains surrounding, this Airbnb is like a concentrated point of natural energy that flows through you the moment you pull up.

Unfortunately Shayne was away during our visit but from what everyone we met said about her, we are both sure she's just as special as Nathan is.
The yurt was extremely comfortable, especially with the fire going, and the overall experience of living off grid added a very special touch to the whole week.
We can't wait to revisit this space, not only because of its beauty but because it now holds an emotional significance to us, as the woods just behind the yurt is where we got engaged. I'm sure we will be coming back here for many years to come.
Overall, we couldn't recommend this location enough to anyone who is looking for a complete reset, both mentally and spiritually, especially if you have an interest in off grid living.
We can't wait to come back! Thank you for a beautiful week and for your unquestionably good hospitality. read less - 17 Feb 2022 - Lauren
My friend and I had a wonderful stay in the yurt! We also managed to enjoy the fire pit outside for a few hours one evening before the rain started. The facilities in the shed were super clean and very well stocked. Nathan was a fantastic Host, made us feel really welcome and like we could ask him anything. We were only two adults and we had more than enough space, you could comfortably sleep 4 close friends/family if you wanted (there's space for more but would start to get a bit cramped after 4 I'd say). We bought logs and kindling on site which I would recommend, very handy and well priced. Would definitely stay again! read less - 13 Feb 2022

Need a reboot? This is the place…A stunning, peaceful and idyllic space that Shayne and Nathan have lovingly created. It reflects the surrounding beauty of the Welsh countryside, combining great eco values with comfort and detail to make sure you have a memorable stay. Highly recommend this place. - 09 Jan 2022
SherylGreat location with lots of walks on your door step. Only 20 mins drive to Llangollen. Less to Corwen village. The large yurt has plenty of space with a nice comfy bed. The wood stove heats up nicely after 20-30mins. The kitchen is outside, but sheltered. It’s well equipped.
We had a lovely weekend and I would highly recommend it for the glamping experience. Remember it is glamping, so won’t always have all your luxuries, but that’s what makes it fun. 🙂 - 09 Jan 2022
